A/Professor Cameron Holloway

Cardiologist | MBBS, PhD, FRACP

A/Professor Cameron Holloway is a consultant cardiologist and academic with a special interest in advanced cardiac imaging techniques, particularly cardiac MRI. He has extensive experience assessing complex cardiovascular conditions using cutting-edge diagnostic tools to support accurate diagnosis and personalised treatment planning.

After graduating from Monash University, Cameron completed his specialist cardiology training at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, followed by advanced imaging training at the University of Oxford in the UK. He worked there as both a consultant cardiologist and academic for six years, during which time he also completed a PhD and post-doctoral research focused on the mechanisms of heart disease.

Now based in Australia, Cameron continues to play an active role in cardiovascular research and education. He supervises honours, masters and PhD students, and has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals. He is the recipient of a five-year Australian Heart Foundation Life Science Research Fellowship, supporting the development of advanced cardiac imaging techniques in Australia.

As part of the EHS Medical Advisory Panel, A/Prof Holloway brings deep technical insight and research-led expertise to the design and review of cardiovascular assessment protocols.
